Liverpool is a northern gem if you’re looking to go organic. It not only has a couple of fantastic restaurants, but you’ll also find plenty of shops, breweries, and farms that are fully organic. This guide will tell you exactly which establishments are worth your time and money.

Organic Restaurants in Liverpool

Being one of the UK’s major cities, Liverpool has plenty to offer when it comes to organic restaurants. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed setting, a slightly more upmarket affair, or just a bevy, Liverpool has something for you.

Liverpool-MelloMello

MelloMello

MelloMello Café is not only a favourite restaurant for Liverpudlians, but it’s also a top venue arts and concert venue. Founded in 2007 by a small co-operative, MelloMello has grown each year and now easily offers some of the best organic grub in town.

We’re also particularly fond of their bar, which offers a few delicious thirst-quenching organic colas, local brews and ciders, as well as a beautiful organic red. MelloMello even has its own beer available on draught; it’s an amber ale with hints of plumb and it’s definitely a tipple worth checking out.
The Café also runs a range of events, from art exhibits to jazz gigs and it’s something you shouldn’t miss if you’re a Liverpool resident. If you need a studio or rehearsal space, MelloMello can sort you out as well. Overall, it’s more than just one of the top organic restaurants in Liverpool. Not to be missed!

Liverpool-LondonCarriageWorks

The London Carriage Works

This Liverpool establishment (yes, a little confusing considering its name!) has stormed the organic market and should definitely be on your list of places to check out.

The restaurant uses a wide range of local suppliers, from the wines and brews you order when you arrive to the desserts that delightfully finish off your visit. This really is a top organic restaurant in Liverpool, with beautiful food, great service and a fantastic ambiance giving you everything you look for in a quality establishment.
It’s not exactly cheap, but once you taste their food you’ll think it’s worth it. You can also take advantage of their Prix Fixe menu, which runs at two courses for £17.50 and three courses for £22.50.
