Djibouti

Djibouti is a small country bordering Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Somalia. It has Red Sea coast, as well as impressive lakes. Most of the country is hot throughout the year. Arabic and French are the official languages. Traditions of folklore and music are intertwined.

The food is a mix of influences from neighboring countries, the French, Yemeni, and others. Yetakelt wet is a spicy mixed vegetable stew that could be Ethiopian in origin. Breakfast often includes lahoh bread. Some popular fruits are mango, seytuun (guava), and moos (banana). Indian restaurants in Djibouti City would be an excellent option.
